  • Major Design Overhaul

iOS 19 is expected to introduce a substantial redesign, drawing inspiration from visionOS. Users can anticipate a modernized interface featuring translucent menus, floating navigation bars, and updated icons. The Camera app, in particular, is rumored to receive a revamp, aligning with the new design ethos.

  • Enhanced AI Features

Building upon the foundation laid by Apple Intelligence, iOS 19 aims to expand AI capabilities across the system. One notable feature is an AI-powered battery optimization tool that analyzes user behavior to manage power consumption more efficiently, potentially extending battery life.

Additionally, the Health app is expected to incorporate AI-driven features, offering personalized coaching and wellness guidance. While significant upgrades to Siri were anticipated, recent reports suggest that these enhancements may not be a central focus at this year’s conference.

  • Improved Connectivity and Accessibility

iOS 19 is set to simplify the process of connecting to public Wi-Fi networks. Users will be able to fill out login forms on one device, with credentials syncing across other Apple devices for a more streamlined experience.

The developer beta of iOS 19 is expected to be available shortly after its announcement at WWDC 2025, with a public release anticipated in September.

tvOS 19, expected to be unveiled at WWDC 2025, marks a significant evolution for Apple TV’s operating system. While the core structure, divided between the Home Screen for app navigation and the Apple TV app for unified content discovery, will remain, Apple is likely to enhance the Apple TV app to make it a more centralized and useful hub, potentially with streamlined navigation and improved recommendations.

New and enhanced screensavers, including long-awaited visuals based on Apple TV+ series and real-world locations, are expected to debut. The InSight feature, which provides information about actors and media during playback, may also expand to cover a broader range of content, not just Apple TV+ originals.

Deeper integration with other Apple devices is anticipated, enabling seamless handoff of content from iPhone or iPad to Apple TV, and improved AirPlay. Security and privacy enhancements are also likely, reinforcing Apple TV’s role as both an entertainment centerpiece and a smart home hub.
