• Jira Configuration: Customize and configure Jira to align with our project management and
workflow requirements, including the creation of custom issue types, fields, and workflows.
• User Management: Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls within Jira.
Ensure proper user onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Workflow Optimization: Collaborate with teams to streamline and optimize workflows,
ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices.
• Plugin Management: Evaluate, install, configure, and maintain Jira plugins and add-ons to
extend functionality and improve user experience.
• Integration: Integrate Jira with other software tools and systems used by the organization,
such as Confluence, version control systems, and continuous integration/continuous
deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Issue Tracking: Manage and monitor issues, defects, and change requests within Jira,
ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and resolution.
• Reporting and Dashboards: Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and filters in
Jira to provide stakeholders with relevant project metrics and insights.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to Jira users, helping them effectively
utilize the platform and troubleshoot issues.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of the Jira instance,
ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and compliance standards
within Jira, including data encryption and access controls.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or
equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Jira Administrator in a software development or IT environment.
• At least one Jira certification (e.g., Jira Administrator, Jira Project Administrator).
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and software development
• Knowledge of Jira best practices, customizations, and integration capabilities.
• Familiarity with Jira plugins and add-ons.
• Proficiency in Atlassian products such as Confluence is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
